Our Staff

Michelle is a certified Tennis coach with 19+ years of experience. She played high school and college tennis, participated in numerous tournaments including the US Open Qualifier and served as assistant men and women's tennis coach at her Alma Mater ( Drew University) for five(5) years.

James is a certified soccer coach  and player with 10+ years of experience. He has played the sport all his life and has coached a vast amount of students through his affiliation with Soccer Shots.

James has grown into playing the sport of tennis where he also  excels as a coach.

Terry is a certified teacher, author, and youth development director with a passion for mentoring young people. A Princeton Theological Seminary graduate and skilled tennis coach, he helps youth build confidence, leadership skills, and a strong foundation for success both on and off the court.

Moise is a dedicated preschool teacher, soccer and tennis coach, and accomplished college track athlete. He brings a passion for youth development, combining his love for sports with hands-on mentorship to help young people build confidence, discipline, and teamwork skills. 

Moise is also a dedicated husband, committed to his family and community.

David is a skilled tennis player from Peru with extensive knowledge of the game. David’s love for the game and commitment to youth development shines every time he steps on the court.

In addition to coaching, David is a professor and engineer, combining analytical expertise with leadership and mentorship. He is also a devoted husband and father, bringing the same care and dedication to his family as he does to his students and athletes.

Ariyah is a high school senior, and accomplished student-athlete. She excels academically, plays volleyball, and is an active member of her school’s Black Student Union.

Ariyah brings a caring and dedicated approach to coaching, combining her love for young people with a commitment to helping them grow both on and off the court. Her passion for mentorship and leadership makes her an inspiring role model for youth in the program.

Brainer is a skilled tennis player and passionate instructor, guiding players of all ages to develop their skills, discipline, and love for the game. A successful business owner in the automotive industry, he is also a devoted husband and father, committed to family, community, and mentoring youth to reach their full potential.

Ciara is a high school sophomore at Trenton Central High School, an excellent student, and a dedicated member of the school tennis team. Through her participation in the WE Lead Sports Program, Ciara has developed her tennis skills and is now the second singles player on her high school team. 

As a junior coach, she brings passion, commitment, and a love for mentoring others, making her an inspiring and dedicated young leader.

Rahja  is a sophomore at Trenton Central High School, an excellent student, and a member of the school tennis team. 

As a participant in the WE Lead Sports Program and a Junior Tennis Coach, she excels at mentoring young children, especially ages 6 and under, sharing her love for tennis while fostering confidence, discipline, and teamwork.

Madison is a dedicated middle school teacher, tennis student, and resident of Ewing, NJ. 

As a Volunteer with WE Lead Sports, she brings her passion for education, love of tennis, and commitment to youth development to support and mentor young athletes.

Mareli is a junior at Trenton Central High School and serves as Summer Junior Support Staff through a partnership with the Mercer County One-Stop Service Program, providing youth with valuable opportunities to gain work experience.

 She is a committed and helpful team member, dedicated to supporting program participants and contributing to a positive learning environment.
